It’s Monday. The start to a new week feels like a good time to blog the start of a new chapter for a sweet family. Samantha had her Austin maternity session by the lake in creamy Texas sunset light. When Samantha first contacted me she asked me about maternity and newborn, and I have to say, this is always a great feeling! I love both sessions, I really do. But knowing from the get go that you get to see and document the transition is thrilling!

First off, let’s talk about gorgeous bump. I never felt amazing when I was carrying my two kiddos, but Samantha is rocking it! Second, she was all about the best thing for the session. We talked about dresses, I wanted every picture she sent me. We discussed florists, lots of locations. It’s so nice to have a good collaboration with fun clients! Talking about what you want in advance and sharing mood boards and inspiration, it’s how we get the best images to capture this fleeting time. Third, I have to say that I love her skin! It should be noted that her complexion is amazing, and she she radiated light! Photoshop has nothing on this natural beauty.

I can’t wait to meet the little baby all curled up in this tummy.

Remember to call about your maternity session as soon as you’re ready to start planning. Hot Texas weather will be here before you know it, and I would love to make sure we don’t have any mamas waiting until the last minute in this coming heat! That round ligament pain can be no fun so let’s try to schedule you in around week 28 if possible. Cheers, parents-to-be!
