Renee and Adam had a beautiful Hyatt Lost Pines wedding in April. When we first met, Renee told me she wanted the entire event to be relaxed and fun for their guests. It would be an intimate list of attendees, and they would all stay at the resort for the weekend to be together and celebrate. She did not mention their friend performing the ceremony would be wearing a kilt. I haven’t had a good kilt at a wedding for years!
The bride and groom had a perfect ceremony atop the golf course, used a selfie stick, entered their cocktail hour to bubbles (the picture of Renee’s bubble eyes keeps cracking me up!). They had customized mason jars with every guest’s name on one, had hilarious signs for the flower girls, deliciously grilled steaks on the open fire, a stage coach photo booth, and tons of outdoor activities (horseshoes, bean bags, giant Jenga).
On a style note, I love the set up they had from Bee Lavish Vintage Rentals with the couch and other outdoor furniture. It was a perfect feel for the cozy nook at the reception. Brenda’s florals were a great compliment to the wedding, blending in with all the nature surrounding the resort yet stepping up the elegance for a momentous day.
