Gorgeous Barr Mansion winter bridal session alert! Maddie is stunning, there’s no question about that. I’m sure I could take a beautiful picture of her no matter what she’s doing. Add in an amazing dress and the fantastic Barr Mansion – winner! If you have been hanging around here a while you know I love braids. I wear a braid somewhere in my hair for every family session of my little crew! Maddie’s hair is the stuff little girls’ dreams are made of, a more natural version of Elsa!
The grounds at the mansion offer so much for a bride. I can swoon all day over the old, white railings. Blue ceilings and vintage furniture make my heart sing. The ivy covered buildings and stained glass?! Pinch me. Booking a bridal session with a venue that has indoor and outdoor options is a great idea, especially in the months with more extreme weather. I praise Texas for having amazing January weather, but if you blink it can turn on you quickly! Maddie is lucky and gets the best of both indoors and outdoors at the mansion. I love everything about this old place. Back in the day I lived near the mansion when the reception hall burned down. I couldn’t tell right away if the house would be affected, and I’m so glad it’s still standing tall to this day!
Enjoy watching me parade the lovely Maddie around every favorite nook and cranny of this place!
Maddie, your Barr Mansion winter bridal session still blows me away! You are stunning!
I know I mentioned it, but the dress, the hair, her gorgeous face, all sheer perfection! I want to borrow this whole look for a vow renewal for myself, ha!
Lastly, I’ll share Maddie and Matt’s sunshine filled winter wedding with all of you soon! Get ready for some Pecan Springs Ranch goodness!
