Have I mentioned how much I love an Austin outdoor bridal session? I do, I love them! Austin is always showing off, look how green it was in July this year! I’ve been waiting a while to share these, and now that Miss Maddie is married, we can share away! You may remember Maddie from her Dallas engagement session with her adorable Andrew. Maddie and Andrew officially started their married life together last month, and I can’t wait to share all of their photos with them. What a day!
Maddie isn’t from Austin so she left it to me to select her location. I chose something natural to contrast her sparkly gown and the location is open to keep her moving. We are all thrilled with how the day turned out, and you would never know her session was in the Texas heat at sunset. Maddie shines! She even remembered her signature confetti popper that we had used for her engagement session. We had one shot at the confetti, and I love her expression when the popper burst!
Maddie, thank you for being willing to try anything, trust me completely, and to trek around with bugs in your dress all evening to get the perfect bridal session memories!

I hope you enjoyed Maddie’s Austin outdoor bridal session as much as I did. Worth all the sweat and bug bites, for sure! Her mom informed me that they spent some bonding time together working a few stowaways out from between the layers once the dress got back to Dallas. I revealed the images and printed canvases to a very excited mother/daughter duo. They agree it is all worth it (bugs included)!
Maddie’s expressive brown eyes and easy going smiles make her so much fun to photograph. I’m already plotting ways to get her back in front of my camera now that the wedding is over!
