Stan was referred to me through a friend, and I never got to meet him or Christine before the wedding day. When that happens, you wonder if they’ll be your type and flow with your style and personality so that a beautiful collaboration results from their meaningful wedding day.
I knew these two would be my plate of brownies (they can’t be my cup of tea since I don’t drink tea, let’s go with brownies, shall we?) when they told me they planned to brave the June heat and enormous summer mosquitos of Houston to stop and take photos outside between the ceremony and their dinner. The church is a meaningful place for them, but like most churches, it’s pretty dark. The restaurant where they would have dinner, same thing. They made the incredibly smart decision to take a few minutes out of their day to make the most important photos (the images of them together, the ones they’ll hang on the wall and put in albums for their children to see) look amazing! In the end they decided on The Menil for their little pit stop, and I had never been before, but I will definitely be back.
Please enjoy Christine and Stan’s day!
