My sweet couple Casey and Steve are featured on 7 Centerpieces today for their St. Mary’s Cathedral and TFWC Mansion wedding! You can see the feature here: http://www.7centerpieces.com/traditional-austin-wedding-amanda-pomilla/
To jog your memory, I blogged Casey and Steve’s engagement session here and Casey’s bridal session here. I love that we got to spend so much time together, including their big fat 9-hour wedding day! When I get Catholic weddings I know we’re likely looking at a long day and I’ll be in a gorgeous church. Win! I’m so happy 7 Centerpieces picked up their wedding because everything was beautiful. Casey’s long lace sleeves were amazing, the bright light streaming into the TFWC mansion. The couple went with the feel of the mansion and kept their decor light using a lot of whites, powder blues, and they added in a little yellow to make everything pop!
There were so many moments that came flooding back as I edited their wedding. On a personal note, it was my first time to see nuns outside of Italy. Yay for St. Mary’s Cathedral wedding! There were toasts so touching that the bride and the groom’s mom couldn’t hold back tears. Grandma gave everyone a little scare, but after a quick check from EMS she went on to celebrate her granddaughter’s wedding. Next came the groomsman in a cape that did a flip to catch the garter. And finally, we had a fistful of sparklers that made a fireball right as the couple exited, but as you can see, they went on to make their grand exit with style and a little kiss!
