Ariel and Robert’s Houston Heights Fire Station wedding. This wedding, I just, I almost don’t have the words. I put off blogging this for a while because I’m worried I won’t do it justice! Ariel is a creative, she does beautiful interiors, and I knew from our first email that this wedding would be gorgeous. I came to quickly realize that Ariel is such a fun and genuine person to be around that I would actually be sad I don’t live in Houston anymore. I would completely make this girl my best friend whether she likes it or not! Robert is pretty awesome, too. He brews his own kombucha and beer (I imagine it’s a mixture of art and science to brew the way he does). He owns and operates a cool company called Kickin Kombucha in the area.
Both Ariel and Robert are big on their local neighborhood. Ariel wanted to have a wedding in the Heights because they live and work there. They visit local shops and take Robert’s cute little boy for walks and stop at the ice-cream carts in the neighborhood. Thankfully there’s a gorgeous wedding venue with amazing light right where their heart is!
You can see Ariel’s innate eye for design come out in every aspect of this wedding. I love everything from her crochet dress to the lush and romantic florals with gold accents. If I ever do a vow renewal I’ll have Ariel choose everything!

Thank you for everything, Ariel and Robert! Your Houston Heights Fire Station wedding is divine!
It’s always a pleasure working with fun creatives, and your wedding is amazing and reflects you both so well!
