What ingredients do you need for a sweet and silly Austin engagement session? Apart from the obvious, you need Elise and Daniel. They love each other, they are playful with one another, and they’re willing to do anything I ask (for the record I DID ask nicely!). Can you please climb into the woods with those high heels? Perfect. Can you please climb over those rocks and sit next to the water in your fancy dress? Excellent. This bodes well for wedding day!
Let’s talk about the silhouette below. I love silhouettes, and often I’ll end a session with one if the mood strikes and the location warrants it. I love the slight reflection of the water, the tiny bits of yellow kissing the trees in a mostly blue sky, and Elise’s wavy hair just added some extra zing for me that made this image stand out. You can imagine the squeal I let out when she emailed me saying she wants this on her wall, as a canvas. Photographer happy dance! I love when the bride and I choose the same image from their session as her favorite!
It’s almost time, love birds! See you next month! Sweet and silly Austin engagement session in the books!
Kudos to Elise for choosing our location. I had never been to this particular park, and I was able to scout it with a crazy 2-year old the week of the session. Thank goodness it was lovely because Miss Allie was not having any of my explorations that day! I saw a few great spots right off the bat and packed us up and headed home. Mission accomplished!
These two lovelies will tie the knot next month at The Springs in their home city of Georgetown. The vibe fits them perfectly, and I can’t wait to see what they do with the space!
