I don’t always give away spoilers, but when I do it’s because SHE SAID “YES!” to Ryan’s Mount Bonnell proposal! I love so much about these two. I love how happy Ryan sounds when he’s talking about Tifonie. I adore how she was standing there with him, wondering why the heck they were on top of Mount Bonnell instead of at dinner already. (Seriously, I told him he must get her queso afterwards because we don’t fib about queso!)
Lurking.
Frequently I’m asked by the proposer (is that a word?!) if I’ll be hiding in the bushes or out in the open. First of all, each proposal is completely unique. I talk with them about where they are proposing. I ask questions about the other person, what they’re saying they will be on their way to do. I ask if they’ve been to this particular place before together, etc. Second, we come up with a plan. In this case I knew exactly where I wanted them because I’ve had more than one Mount Bonnell proposal and could show him precisely where to go. Finally, I make the decision on whether to be in plain sight or hidden. In this particular situation it is much better for me to hide in plain sight.
Waiting.
Since I’m out in the open I need something to do. I pretended to be playing on my phone and instagramming pictures of the sunset. It allowed me to take this on my phone as they walked past.
