By now you should have caught the last post. Joy’s maternity session was a gorgeous, crisp Sunday morning. We’ll counter that with our similarly gorgeous but decidedly humid, typical Texas morning for the newborn session. That’s not to say this morning was anything less than spectacular! Becoming a mom is an amazing experience that you might come close to capturing if you have the space for 1000 adjectives. No, scratch that, you still can’t fully describe it. It’s everything. And I’m thrilled Joy and Will get to experience the feeling of bringing a new baby into the world! Let’s also not forget how cool this kid is for picking the right parents. You’re going to be the recipient of the best baked goods, there will be plenty of two-wheeled adventures in your future, and from my estimation, limitless love and support!

Yes, let’s get loud about it! Over the years I never chased publications; happy clients are more than enough to fill my cup. When it does come at you, and for a session your heart is all wrapped up in, it feels like perfect timing. And no matter what I may have thought before, seeing my name in those credits is quite a thrill! So grab your cup of coffee and come on over to the porch, we’re looking at these newborn pictures together!
And when you’re done, head on over to Joy the Baker and grab a recipe for this weekend. You’ll thank me later! And she’s back on socials so let’s all go route for a Friday spiral that has guest star, baby John.

You can always hit me up with photography and baking chatter. I do not come from a long line of bakers. My mom and grandma were the box mix queens (no shade there). Learning to bake (and crochet, pretty much any of my hobbies), is just something I felt compelled to do and is super fun to share with my kids. I hope many years from now my daughter will still be dragging out her matching apron and personalized spatulas to whip up some memories with me!
