Let’s stop and appreciate this amazing January that I had, which includes this sweet proposal at Pennybacker Bridge! Okay, some of us call it the 36o bridge, there’s that, too. We know everything in Austin has to have at least two names!

Scott calls me to discuss his proposal, and of course he has wonderful things to say about this woman named. This woman he wants to spend the rest of his life loving. We talk about exactly how he wants it to happen, there will be a gorgeous doodle involved, and obviously we need bubbles! Every time I do one of these I’m excited, slightly nervous (which is a good thing – keeps me on my toes!), and I’m happy to see two people get ready for that next chapter in their lives together!

Do you know how many people I had to shoo away from this area? I say it nicely so it’s fine, right?! One woman and her daughter even volunteered to be part of the fun and pretend to be the people I was there to photograph so it wouldn’t give it away when Erin walked up. Some sort of plan always manifests, I love the spontaneity of these days!

As you can see, all is well, she said yes! A wonderful, enthusiastic “yes” that was followed by a willingness to be photographed and have fun with me at an impromptu engagement session, that’s cool as a cucumber!

Congratulations on your proposal at Pennybacker Bridge, Erin and Scott!

Now let’s get to planning the wedding because I can’t wait to see you two make it official in Philly this winter! (There were questions about the gorgeous doodle, and he’s from http://www.ridleysredretrievers.com in Pennsylvania.)
